Question by Pope Bend-A-Dick: How come when I put outgoing mail in the mailbox in my building the postman doesn’t take it?
Aren’t they supposed to take it? The nearest mailbox is like half a mile away and I’m so angry. I even put a little sticky note on the letter that said outgoing. Do they do it on purpose to make people put it in the blue things?
I don’t live in a house. I live in an apartment building with a bunch of mailboxes at the entrance.
Best answer:
Answer by Lisa H
does your mail box have a little flag on the side of it? If it does, you need to put that up so that the mail man knows that there is something for him to take.
if no flag, I usually clip my outgoing mail to the outside of the mail box.
