Question by Rose Arizona: What do you do when some punk kid whacks your mailbox off with a baseball bat?

I have been the victim of such a crime, and the mailbox head is now laying, grotesquely disfigured, next to its headless post.
I have neither the time, money, nor know-how to replace it. Will they just stop delivering my mail? Can I still put my Netflix in the decapitated head, raise the sideways flag, and hope I still get my Grey’s Anatomy Season 4, disc 5, tomorrow?

First of all, report the crime. Attach to the post the best way possible so as not to interrupt your delivery. “mailbox baseball” has been around for awhile. On your next box, install steel or cement posts on the sides of the box and pole. This will give the players a surprise.
