There was a recent yahoo news story (video) with the headline “Man invents portable mailbox to help elderly mother.” But I can’t play streaming videos on my computer and have no idea what they are talking about.

The portable mailbox runs from the street to the house on a cable held up by metal poles every few feet. It is, of course, just the box, the kind you see on posts by the curb, not the kind that are bolted directly to the house, that moves. It appears to be electric as it moves very quickly and at a consistent speed.
